Meet the Biggest Group of Friends in the Metaverse: Alien Frens
Overview
Aliens Frens are one of the biggest and most known NFT Collectibles on the Ethereum Blockchain. The collection is made up of 10K randomly generated ERC 721 tokens.
Alien Frens was created by Mason Crowe. This visionary artist is from Cincinnati, Ohio, but is based out of Costa Mesa, CA. Mason’s goal in creating Alien Frens was to establish one of the most known and influential communities within the metaverse. As of today, his goal is currently playing out. All of the work the Mason has put into Alien Frens would not have been possible if it wasn’t for his four other team members
Justin Brown is the lead marketer for Alien Frens. He’s in charge of making sure Alien Frens gets the attention they need when it comes to expanding the brand.
Gabriel Montane is the Community Manager of Alien Frens. This means that he’s in charge of making sure all members are getting along in the discord and on Twitter.
Sean Herron is one of the most active people I know in the Web3 space. He is always on Twitter Spaces answering questions about the project. He truly wants Alien Frens to be a Top 5 NFT project. Sean is in charge of all big partnerships that occur with the brand.
Glenn Robinson is in charge of communications amongst the Alien Fren collection. He is selects the best photos that are taken amongst all Frens and promotes them.
Exclusivity
Alien Frens are one of the most exclusive projects in the NFT space. You might be seeing them on your Twitter feed all showing up with different colors. These colors of Frens are based on the “factions” which are the rarities of each Alien Fren. As you can see from the picture the “Xenos” being the most common and the “Olu” being the most rare. Alien Frens also have extremely rare Frens such as 6 1/1s and 40 zombies.
Being apart of this collection grants you many exclusive privileges' such as winning prizes via “invasions”, multiple live events, games, and clothing.
Personally, being apart of this collection the team members listen very well to the community and make changes when necessary.
Alien Frens Evolution
At the offset of Alien Frens, all Frens were airdropped an incubator. All holders had the ability to either use the incubator or save it. This turned into another Alien Fren collection which can be found here.
Comic Books
Alien Frens have released their first Comic Book collection. It can be found here. We might become the next Dr. Seuss.
UFO Mint
Holders were able to create customizable UFOs for the Frens. They can be found here.
Utility
Alien Frens also have started to give back to the community by implementing a “Fren Coin”. This coin is NOT an on-chain coin or staking coin, but accumulates everyday depending on the type of Alien Fren you own. This coin can be redeemed for merchandise, giveaways, and certain type of access to events.

Experiences
Alien Frens put together on June 11, 2022 an event called “The Las Vegas Games”.
This event was one of its kind with select holders playing “Real Life Pong” in order to compete for top prizes. In order to get selected to compete you had to have an OG Alien Fren in your wallet and the members were randomly selected. You can watch the previous event below:
Alien Frens didn’t just stop there they put on another experience @NFT NYC. Where all holders were invited to meet up.

Business Developments/IP
Alien Frens have been on the grind when it comes to expansion of the Alien Fren brand and universe. Alien Frens have partnered with the “Full Send” brand to introduce a new collection. The name of this collection is called “Full Send Frens”. The Full Send brand is a brand that is founded by a group called the “Nelk Boys”. This influential group has millions of subscribers on YouTube and their president has had a big voice in the crypto space, his name is John Shahidi. (He’s currently rocking an Alien Fren as a pfp). The possibilities are endless when it comes to Alien Frens creativity.
The Alien Frens are also providing IP grants to encourage holders to build a business around the brand. I quote, “We will be investing 200k into fren owned businesses that use our IP to promote their brand! What’s in Store for the Future? Why am I bullish?
Alien Frens no longer believe in a roadmap. They have transitioned into providing updates via “Missions” these missions allow for holders to view their progress on a sliding scale out of 100% completed. It’s a unique way to get people’s attention when it comes to building the brand. I’m very excited to see what happens next.
The reason why I am so optimistic about Alien Frens is that it has been garnering attention in the industry. They are renowned for their imaginative utilization of blockchain technology, as well as their ability to unite the community through hosting some of the most memorable parties in the NFT space.
